Yaroon Challo!
'Empowerment', 'Change', 'Impact'....i am sure all the politicians will be very proud to vouch for these words as they use them very frequently in their speeches which actually is good for nothing. Hence these words had lost importance in my life as i used to relate them with an image of seeking political votes.
Those 8,000 Kms, 12 States, 15 Role models and 450 super smart candidates had actually empowered me to re-think on these few powerful words which i had discarded long back. The impact these role models have created is an eye opener for me. Coming from a Capitalistic mindset, i was never exposed to such situations and experiencing them in all one go was a jackpot of learnings for me.

Friend who taught me the most!
Interviews are my best friends. That's the only dedicated time you get to talk about your own self and I love doing it when someone offers me this so called 'Opportunity'. It helps me visualize sitting in front of a camera, sharing my so called 'valuable experiences' with a journalist from one of the finest media house of the country. Day dreaming is over..Let's get down to the reality before you classify my thought as junk.
I have seen people experiencing sleepless nights before the interview because they are scared about what's going to happen next day. Eventually they end up wasting so many hours and nights just because the over hyped fear of interview had captured their soul.
What you need to do is just tweak your experiences on the basis of what the other person would like to hear. Make sure what you present is something which alligns other person's goals/interests. Understand the need of the interviewer and ring fence your strategy around it. Trust me, life will be sorted after that. It just involves a bit of research and making a small correlation with your life experiences.
You do learn from every interview but please note at the same time the interviewer also learns something from you. So by end of the day it's a win win situation for both the sides. Getting selected or rejected is mostly a matter of luck and timing. So keep the radar of your confidence level entact irrespective what the outcome is. Most of the time the decision is made by people with power who surprisingly have a baised mind. Apologies if it hurts someone, but this is a fact. So, don't think that you are super smart because you cracked it or feel dumb because you got rejected. Your intelligence cannot be measured by a baised mind, you need an open mind for it to judge and unfortunately such interviewers are in single digit. Just Chill and relax!
Closing thought: Experiences are neither good or bad, they are just incidents which happened because you made a choice at some point of time. So Keep Sailing!
